Based in Brooklyn, Levenson McDavid Architects, P.C. is a full service architectural firm committed to the complete process of design and construction from Park Avenue offices to Park Slope residences. Our firm works intimately with its corporate, not-for-profit and residential clients on all aspects of building - whether designing a physical identity or finalizing the move-in.
Levenson McDavid is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and an Adopter of the Architecture 2030 Challenge. The Challenge seeks to radically increase the energy efficiency of the buildings we design and encourage ongoing general education regarding building energy efficiency issues.
In seeking to achieve significant energy savings Levenson McDavid is now undertaking several projects designed to Passive House standards. Passive House is the the most fully integrated and rigorous energy building standard today - which ensures a cost effective, very well constructed building, with excellent comfort, that may achieve up to 90% reduction in heating and cooling energy requirements.
