A conceptual design for Roraima Consulting Inc.'s new home and technology center. "The center will provide a range of learning and skill building opportunities, designed to provide pathways out of poverty for the residents of disadvantaged communities in New York City." The design proposes that the building itself demonstrates, for educational purposes, a wide range of sustainable approaches including constructing to the rigorous Passive House energy standard with a sampling of wind, geothermal, photovoltaic and solar thermal systems making the building zero net energy.
